Excel For Adults
No two students operate a computer at the same speed. Adults – often slightly computer-phobic – do not have the same dexterity as college students who were raised with playstations and ipads. Adults tend to have greater difficulty sitting through a single six to seven hour training session. Adults also like more information in more detail over a longer period of time, with more examples and more practice exercises to help internalize the material.
Our one day class moves at a fast pace and if you’re new to computers, have visual acuity concerns, or are slow with the mouse or keyboard – you will have difficulty keeping pace in the one day format.
For example, the standard windows font is 8 point Tahoma. If you have difficulty reading this text then consider Excel for Adults. The Excel for Adults class will increase the font size 20%, like the rest of the text on this page
In response to frequent requests, we now offer a multi-day Excel class in midtown that allows participants more opportunities to practice and implement what they learn. Small classes kept under 5 students allow your instructor to provide individual attention to each participants questions and concerns, in addition to moving at a slower pace.
Courses are hands-on and include practice exercises. Excel for Adults includes a 150 page color manual!
